Management
Guidance and Guidelines
Having a diverse pool of employees means they won't all fit into a perfect puzzle. This offers unique advantages that serve to benefit those who lead others, along with distinct limitations that can make this position a challenge at times. You will receive specific guidelines for your management team mapping out each step to follow when an employee is transitioning to ensure knowledge, understanding, and that there are processes in place for you to successfully lead your team in reaching the goals of the transgender employee and of your organization.
Today’s business world is more competitive and connected than it has ever been. While this has lead to many new opportunities for LGBTQ+ employees, it has also introduced its share of challenges for leaders to try and keep up with a constantly changing and evolving community. We help you lead a work environment based on respect, trust, and collaboration, creating an exceptional employee experience where employees can bring their whole selves to work and thrive in their careers. After certification, we continue to offer opportunities for ongoing support and consultation specifically for your management and leadership needs.

Guidelines for
Transitioning Employees

It is important to realize that each individual undergoing a transition will have their own set of unique factors that will require a customized plan. Like any significant life event, employees may benefit from additional support. Our Transitioning Employee Guidelines offers a step by step approach to ensure the transitioning employee has an active and integral role in steering and shaping their workplace transition. Every transition is unique and this offers an opportunity for the company to show their support. Offering guidelines and guidance to the transitioning employee can help them feel valued and heard among their co-workers and cultivate an accepting, safe, and inclusive work culture. It is our top priority to implement a system where every transgender employee's transition is successful for both the employee and organization.
Guidelines for Co-Workers of
Transitioning Employees
Having a co-worker undergoing a gender transition will have its own set of unique factors and possible challenges that will require a structured plan. Our Co-Workers of Transitioning Employees Guidelines offers a straight-forward approach to ensure the employee knows what is expected of them. From understanding LBGTQ+ co-workers to transition steps, proper use of pronouns, and terminology, we have every employee covered. Offering guidelines and guidance to employees who have co-workers transitioning can help take the fear and confusion out of the process. Every employee will have clear steps to take, helping them understand how they can be part of cultivating an accepting, safe, and inclusive work culture. Alongside these steps, they will gain a better understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and their transgender and non-binary co-workers.

"Understanding that gender is not linear through the GDIBC process has helped our employees create styles that are completely customized to the client's gender expression. You need to see all the layers in gender identity."
